As most of you are aware your affiliation with Australian Sailing gives you free access to the sports management app revSport.

It’s an exciting time for revSport, with a recent update to their platform bringing new functionality and the ability to make further bespoke sailing related improvements. We are working closely with revSport to roll these out over the coming year.

One of the key benefits of using revSport is the ability to capture data about your club and its activities. The data we capture is also critical in helping us understand the areas that we need to focus on for the development of our sport.

Some of the key questions your club should be considering include:

• Is your revSport data up to date?
• Have you entered all your members?
• Are their details accurate?
• Have you ticked off your course participants attendance and completion?

Why is this so important to your club and our sport?

• It helps us with funding for sailing both at a state and national level.
• It provides your course participants with their certificate of course completion.
• Your membership needs to be updated for insurance and qualification purposes.
