Anti-Doping for Parents
Published Sat 02 Apr 2022
An online course is available for parents of athletes to help them understand anti-doping. The course is provided by Sport integrity Australia and has been developed in cooperation with the World Anti-Doping Authority to give parents and guardians information on clean sport.
The course, titled ‘Parents' Guide to Clean Sport’ takes around 20 minutes to complete. To participate in the course, register on Sport Integrity Australia’s e-learning system and peruse their catalogue of courses.
The course and the responsibilities that parents hold are all important. Completing the course will help parents understand the role they play in addressing the increasing concerns about the improper use of drugs and medicine in sport. Parents will be able to exercise their commitment to the health, safety and wellbeing of sailors.
Parents will come off the course much better informed about why the Improper Use of Drugs and Medicines Policy matters.
The Parents’ Guide to Clean Sport course is here.
