There will be a range of different sailing activities over the weekend with coaching from former Opti girl champions! We also have some fantastic speakers set for Saturday night to share their sailing experience and pass on some wisdom.

Billeting is available with RSYS families for sailors coming from further afield. 

Event Schedule

Saturday 26th November 2022

1130-1230 : Arrival at RSYS, unload Optis, registration and lunch *

1230-1245 : Rigging and getting ready to sail

1245-1300 : Official Welcome & Briefing

13.00-15.30 : Opti Training Session

1530-1600 :  Afternoon Tea

1600-1800 : Elliott Sailing

1800-1845 :  Shower and change

1845-20.30 : Dinner in the CCA room with guest speakers. **

2100 : Home Time

Sunday 27th November

0800-0900 Arrive, bbq breakfast and briefing.**

0900-1200 Optimist Training

1200-1300 return to shore for BBQ Lunnch & Debrief

1300 : Optional Departure Time

1300-1700 : Join RSYS Squads Racing

1700 : Departure Time or Sailor & Family are welcome to attend the CCA Pizza Evening **

Cost for the weekend is $80 per sailor, includes OptiChicks T-Shirt, 2 lunches, dinner, breakfast and all activities. 

* There will be no trailer parking at RSYS, please roof top your Opti here.  Entry will be allowed to drop off boats.  Car parking at RSYS is for members only. There is limited street parking around the club, and all-day paid parking in North Sydney.
