A fantastic day with 22 instructors, senior instructors, and the chief instructor at the 2022 Instructor Conference on 25th September at Adelaide Sailing Club. The day was a great opportunity for personal development and to meet and network with other Instructors in South Australia.

The morning started with presentations from Kylie Baker with an update on Australian Sailing, followed by National Participation Manager Ian Leeson presenting the new club participation program.

Chief Instructor Chris Goldacre joined us for a workshop on debriefing participants, followed by Senior Instructor Matt Young giving us all a refresher on powerboating and safety.

The afternoon practical sessions in powerboating and dinghy instructing were a great opportunity to work with senior and chief instructors on presenting and teaching skills.
