On the 29th October 2020 Yachting Queensland conducted their Annual General Meeting which was followed immediately by a General meeting.

On behalf of the clubs and YQ Board, I would like to extend my thanks to resigning YQ Board Member Tim McCall. Tim provided excellent contribution to the Board in his time and managed in his time to heavily involved in the negotiations with Australian Sailing on the adoption of the One Sailing Model, the redrafting and adoption of the current YQ Constitution and the development of a template constitution for Queensland Sailing and Yacht Clubs. 

Tim McCall who was the Central Queensland Representative is replaced by Roger Searl. I welcome Roger to the role, and I am sure his contribution will be just as valuable.

Kerry Noyes, South Queensland Representative was re-elected by the members to her position on the YQ Board.
