World Sailing's Seminars for Measurers are intended to improve the standard of measurement and to assist people who wish to become an International Measurer. 

Candidates who wish to attend an IM Seminar should either have been appointed as an Official Measurer or have an attended an IM Clinic and have proved experience of Measurement and Equipment Inspection. Candidates for IM Status must attend an IM Seminar and pass the written test.
