Coaching Support Staff – 2025 Youth Squad and International Competition
In line with the commitment to support development of sailors in partnership with class associations, Australian Sailing is calling for expressions of interest for Coaching Support Staff for Youth Squad Camp and International competition in 2025.
Youth Squad
The Youth Squad (non-residential) is a domestic on/off-water program of training and learning via webinars that prepare youth sailors for international competition in a squad environment. The sailors in the squad will have achieved the selection criteria set out in the policy aspire and intend to develop their skills to attend the approved overseas event in 2025. The Youth Squad runs for three months.
International Competition
To elevate the coaches and sailors learning experience at international competition, AS together with the Class Association provides on-water coaching support for all Australians for on water support at the selected international competition. The appointed coach will lead the on-water coaching support to all Australian sailors who have agreed to pay the fees for on-water coaching via the Class Association. This support is subject to minimum numbers.
This support is subject to minimum numbers and sailors/parents agreeing to cover overseas coaching support.
