Australian Sailing - Measurer - IRC/ORC Course
Course information
This course has passed.
Systems such as IRC, ORC International and ORC Club, and even CBH are independent data based ratings of a boat's performance potential and provide events scoring options that are scientific and unbiased. The data is based on measurements taken from the boat. The role accredited Measurers play is important for regattas where trailable yachts, sportsboats and keelboats are scored under any of these ratings. Without the measurements, it simply won't happen.
Australian Sailing is considering running some training in Perth for people interested in this role. If you are interested, please register here.
To learn more about CBH, ORC or IRC, please visit our Ratings Hub.
