Australian Sailing is thrilled to launch the Olympic Webinar Series which will interview some of the key players from the Australia’s Tokyo Olympic Sailing team. Michael ‘Blackers’ Blackburn will kick off the series next Tuesday 7^th September at 6PM AEST.

Michael Blackburn coached Tom Slingsby, Tom Burton and Matt Wearn to the top of the Olympic podium at the London, Rio and Tokyo games respectively. Blackers has been the common dominator in Australia’s three consecutive Olympic Gold medals in the laser class and is considered a huge factor in the nation’s dominance in the most competitive international Olympic sailing class.

Each webinar in the series will include a chat with the team members followed by a Q&A session with the sailing community. This is your chance to ask some of our most successful Olympians how they progressed from club sailing to the Olympic stage, how they prepare for regattas or even what their pump-up music is.
