Overview
This request form is used to request demotion of current instructor qualifications.
Who should do this?
Current Instructors who no longer wish to be active in one of their below roles;
- Dinghy Instructor
- Windsurfing Instructor
Outcome
Pending your request being actioned, you will no longer be a current Instructor and will be awarded the Assistant Instructor Qualification.
To complete the request please fill in the form below accepting the below statement and selecting which qualification/s you wish to demote.
Please note that the completion of this form will be linked to your member profile.
StatementYour instructor level qualification will remain or be made inactive. The Assistant Instructor level qualification will be added to your profile with the attainment date reflecting the date of this request. As a result you will no longer be an active instructor and therefore you can't lead the delivery of learn to sail courses. Any renewal fees paid to Australian Sailing will not be refunded. Your new Assistant Instructor qualification does not have associated renewal fees or an expiry date, therefore you shall not receive expiry/renewal notifications for this qualification. Please note that you will be covered by the Australian Sailing Instructor Insurance whilst assisting at an accredited Discover Sailing Centre in the program that you hold the Assistant Instructor qualification. If you decide that you wish to reactiviate your Instructor qualification, please contact us at training@sailing.org.au and as long as your Instructor Qualification has not expired, we will reissue you a Renewal Invoice and upon payment reactivitate you qualification. |
