How She Sails

We want your story!

How She Sails is a She Sails initiative to capture and share what women in sailing really think about our sport.  We are hoping that other women and girls will read these stories and will feel like sailing is a new adventure they can jump into.

We want stories from mums who drive their kids to the club and watch them sail, volunteers who give their time on the water, in the canteen, on a committee or two or who are leading the club as a flag officer. We want sailors of all types, junior, youth, Olympians and olympic hopefuls, masters who can still show everyone how it's done along with match racers, professional sailors and women who just love to get out on the water.

So this is all about you and we hope you will enjoy sharing with us your story, your inspiration and your influence!

Our friends and family will enjoy reading the importance of your story and the other thousands of stories that are around us through the Australian Sailing social media chanels and the She Sails website. We encourage you to login with your Australian Sailing number so that we have the demographics to help women identify with your story.  We will only use your first name, but will use your Club, Association or Company to help promote this initiative.

We’ve done a test run and it only takes between 5-10 minutes to complete! Please share this opportunity with anyone who you think will want to be part of our initiative.
