YouthSail Registrations Now Open for QLD and NSW, Coming Soon in WA
Registrations are now open for the 2023 Youth Sail events in Queensland and New South Wales, and with registration opening soon for the Western Australian event, the 2023 summer is shaping up to be an exciting sailing season for young sailors around the country.
The 2023 Youth Sail events are set to provide a fantastic opportunity for young sailors under the age of 23 to participate and sharpen skills through engaging learning and skill development. There will be plenty of time to have fun with new and old friends alike as well as the opportunity to get performance recognition through the Youth Championships.
Each event includes a multi-day coaching clinic run by the state’s top coaches for junior and youth classes, as well as a multi-day State Youth Championships Regatta which provides participants with the opportunity to experience sailing in a large fleet and using strategy out on the water.
The 2023 Youth Sail QLD event is set to take place at Keppel Bay Sailing Club in Yeppoon from September 18-23. Last year’s event attracted more than 220 sailors, and with more interest than ever, the 2023 Youth Sail QLD event is on track to be a major success once again.

The 2023 Lake Mac NSW Youth Sail event will take place at the Teralba Amateur Sailing Club from September 27-October 2. Promising to once again be an incredibly popular event, the 2023 Lake Mac NSW Youth Sail event will see training and competition across the northern end of beautiful Lake Macquarie.

On the western side of the country, the 2023 Youth Sail WA event is scheduled to take place from September 30 to October 5 at the Mounts Bay Sailing Club. Another incredibly successful event in 2022, this year’s edition of the Youth Sail WA event - set in the sheltered waters of Matilda Bay - is set to attract sailors from all around the state.
