West Sail & Youth Championships

The Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club will host the annual West Sail event followed by the 2019 SunSmart WA Youth Championships. Commencing today, West Sail runs till Tuesday with the Championships being held Wednesday and Thursday of the first week of school holidays.

106 entries already received across the fleets; Optimist Open and Intermediate, Open and Bic Techno, O’pen Skiff, Laser 4.7, Radial and Standard, Waszp, Int. 420 and 29er’s and the Nacra 15’s.

The course area is set for Freshwater Bay and Melville Water West on the Swan River. Which means for the other land-dwelling creatures, best viewing will be Point Walter Reserve on the Southern side or Point Resolution Reserve on Northern side at Dalkeith.
