Valmadre Series

The Fremantle Sailing Clubs Valmadre Series, which forms part of the Champions Trophy, continues today with the 22-25 nautical-mile Ensign Race. A selection of four possible courses, pending on wind strength and direction, have been plotted in and around Gage Roads and the Cockburn Sound, the skippers and navigators.

The Champions Trophy also includes two days of Windward Leeward races held after the first two races of the series. Will Weapon of Choice dominate tomorrow as they did last fortnight, or will Joss continue to steal victories on handicap?

The Next Factor and Weapon of Choice will be out to continue their form and winning streaks in Division 1 whilst Cougar, Witchy Woman and new to the WA waters after her revamp is Simon Trovaldsen’s JPK 1080 (35 ft) Atomic Blonde. All the action of the start is off North Mole as usual this morning at 9:25am.
