SheSails Conference 2024

The fourth SheSails conference for 2024 was a powerful celebration of incredible women. This year’s event organised by Australian Sailing and MCed by Nic Douglass featured many inspiring speakers from the Paris 2024 Olympics and from previous Olympics as part of the theme of Olympic Pathways of World Sailings global women’s sailing festival.

Elizabeth Tucker Partners with Cole Brauer for 12,000nm Double-Handed Journey to Australia

Elizabeth Tucker, a former VP in renewable energy, is undertaking a 12,000nm double-handed journey from Europe to Australia with mentor Cole Brauer. This voyage prepares her for the Global Solo Challenge 2027, where she will race solo around the globe. Having left a successful corporate career, Elizabeth is passionate about sailing and empowering women in the sport. Her campaign, Za Ocean Racing, aims to create a supportive community and inspire women to pursue their dreams and push their limits

Women's and Girl's Regatta June 2024

This past weekend (15-16th June) saw Keppel Bay Sailing Club host their second Women’s and Girl’s Regatta. This regatta came about as Keppel Bay believed it to be important to increase the participation of Women racing, as part of Australian Sailings initiative to promote and celebrate all women and girls involved in this amazing sport.
