Queensland Government Law Changes for Incorporated Associations

Get Ready for 1 July 2024.

Changes to how you resolve internal grievances and disclose remuneration to your members in your incorporated association will begin on 1 July 2024.

You should understand how they’ll affect your organisation and what you need to do to get ready.

Your incorporated association will need to:

  • Follow the grievance procedure in the model rules or 
  • Adopt another procedure that complies with section 47A of the Associations Incorporation Act 1981 into its constitution.
