Hillarys Yacht Club first OTS club out the gate
Following a hugely popular pilot year in Victoria, OutThere Sailing is in full swing for the 2019/2020 season!
This year is particularly exciting as over thirty clubs have now signed up to run OutThere Sailing programs. The OutThere Sailing program places a massive emphasis on the social, fun aspect of sailing; all of the clubs on board are so keen to be able to provide a social program for teenagers and there has been a lot of interest so far.
Excitingly, some of the clubs in the warmer regions have already started running their OutThere Sailing programs for this season. The first club to run an OutThere Sailing program this season was Hillarys Yacht Club in Western Australia! Hosting a Powerboat adventure for a school group, it was a great day for all involved and the participants absolutely loved it. Hillarys will be running the OutThere Sailing programs using a variety of Keelboats, Power Boats, SUP's and Pacers for the rest of the season. HYC prides themselves on their social, friendly club atmosphere and hosts a ton of on and off water social events for their club members. We think this partnership with Hillarys Yacht Club is a match made in heaven, with incredible views of the Indian Ocean and a laid back club culture, we couldn’t have pictured a better place to kick off the new season.
