Information Nights

Looking for something to do on these hot sweltering nights? Your local clubs are back in full swing with a myriad of events and information sessions. Fremantle Sailing Club will hoist Tales of Trevor Taylor and Optimus Prime later this month at 7:30pm on Thursday, February 28. Trevor will speak about his recent Clipper Round the World Race and his Melbourne to Osaka Double Handed campaign. The event is open to members, guest and the public to hear the tales of his vast sailing experience and adventures.

South of Perth Yacht Club is holding their first monthly information session at 6:30pm on Monday night. Whether you hoist your sails or prefer throttle power, these sessions are for everyone. This months’ topic is Managing Boating Alignments. Presented by Dr Helga Weaving, a tender subject on gunwale rash, head impacts, giving injections, rope burns and finally the dreaded sea-sickness.
