Felicity Allison starts as General Manager – Tasmania

Australian Sailing are delighted to announce that Felicity Allison has commenced as our new General Manager – Tasmania.

Felicity has a lifelong passion and involvement in sailing and has been actively involved in the Tasmania sailing community as a participant, volunteer and club committee member since she began her sailing journey at the age of 11 years old.

Felicity states “My love of sailing began at the age of 11 years, when I was asked by a friend to come and crew in an International Cadet at Sandy Bay Sailing Club. So began my journey of sailing and love of boating. Since then, I have sailed in various off-the-beach and keelboat classes, been involved in sailing club management and committees and actively participate in racing”.

Felicity’s experience as Commodore of Sandy Bay Sailing Club, her time on various sailing committees, as well as thirty years of teaching experience, where communication, management and organisational skills are fundamental, provides Felicity with a strong foundation for taking on the role as Australian Sailing’s General Manager - Tasmania.

“I am looking forward to working with Tasmanian sailing clubs and supporting the great sport of sailing”.
