Australian Sailing - WA office update

As mentioned in January’s Operational Update, we have now welcomed Club Services Officer Chris Lloyd to the team. In this month, we (temporarily) farewell Kate Wearn, who has commenced maternity leave on Friday. We wish Kate and her husband Travis all the best as they prepare to welcome their first child in March.

The Australian Sailing Q2 report for 2020/21 is now available HERE, with some positive indicators for WA. It is fantastic to see RFBYC #1 for Discover Sailing Centres, PRSC #3 for OutThere Sailing Centres and HYC #9 for OutThere Sailing Centres and #7 for Keelboat Centres in Australia for completed participants. 

Participation has been significant across many Discover Sailing Centres, with a number in WA selling out their courses during the December/January school holiday period. Membership has remained steady and we encourage all Clubs to ensure they are assigning a payment class to their members in revSPORT. For assistance with this task, please view the support guide HERE.
