2021 WA Club Conference

The 2021 WA Club Conference was held on 17 July and was well supported by many members of our sailing community, with 71 people representing 23 Clubs and Class Associations.

Clubs and Class Associations benefited from a range of presentations; Mark Honer opened up the Club Conference and welcomed all representatives, Mark Nicholas, Skip Lissiman, Andy Fethers and Jenn Suffield provided a YWA Board, Australian Sailing Strategic, Operational update and a Programs Education and Online Services Update.

After lunch, Lorraine Donachie from 17 Coaching delivered a high level presentation on How to maintain member relations through effective child safe complaint handling.

Throughout the day representatives from Clubs and Associations such as; Robert Crofts, Genevieve Wickham, Sarah Twigger, Adele Jackson and Mark Crier, delivered on a wide range of topics.

Breaks throughout the day allowed for club networking and a chance to further enjoy the hospitality on offer by East Fremantle Yacht Club. With Department on Transport attending to showcase their popular new app, Deckee.
