All boats that have a valid certificate for the current rating year are able to apply for a trial certificates online. Only 6 trials may be requested in any rating year.

Any difference between your latest IRC certificate and the current configuration of the vessel is consider a change. This includes switching back to different sails or to a previous boat configuration. Failing to declare the correct data may incur in additional fees (amendment fees).

Please download the IRC Measurement Input sheet below and make sure that all new data is endorsed by an Australian Sailing accredited IRC Measurer.

Payment fees info

Please make sure you declare the correct length of your boat. If you are unsure of the correct measurement please refer to your IRC certificate (boat length correspond to LH value on your certificate) or contact the Ratings Office (ratings@sailing.org.au).

You can choose between Standard (10-15 working days) and Expedited (3-5 working days and fee is twice the standard) processing time.

If you are willing to receive your certificate within the Standard processing time please enter your boat length under the Standard Fees section (including the 2 decimals).

Expedited revalidation application: please only enter your boat length under Expedited Fees section if you require an expedited revalidation application (including the 2 decimals).
