YSA Update

At the recent Australian Sailing (AS) South Australian Club Conference, Yachting South Australia (YSA) President Kirsty Dunn presented a discussion on the consideration of the de-registration of YSA as a separate Incorporated Association, to be replaced by a Regional Advisory Committee (RAC), as a committee of Australian Sailing the same as in NSW, TAS and VIC.

2022 WA Club Conference a success

It was fantastic to have 63 Western Australia Club and Class Association representatives attend the Australian Sailing 2022 WA Club Conference. The club and class representatives were active in their feedback and sharing success stories and their challenges through out the day long conference held at the Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club on Saturday 18th June 2022.

SA Club Conference

The 2022 SA Club Conference was held on Sunday 26th June at the Cruising Yacht Club of South Australia. It was an enjoyable day with an attendance of 31 people representing 12 SA Clubs.

Club in Focus: Wynyard Yacht Club (WYC)

Established in 1961, Wynyard Yacht Club (WYC) is situated in the small town of Wynyard, near the mouth of the Inglis River on the northern coast of Tasmania. With a local population of 5000 people, WYC plays a large role in connecting locals and members alike and is an integral part of the local sailing community.
