Australian Sailing is pleased to announce that the End of Season discount on all 2018 IRC applications will be offered again this year. This is a good chance to play with amendments, trials and even revalidate your certificate for the 3 last months of the IRC 2018 rating year. Please be aware that all discounted applications will expire on 31 of May 2019.

Join the Rat Race at the Clayton Bay Boat Club – March 16th & 17th 2019

Over thirty years ago, a couple of small boat sailors decided to test themselves around a tight, winding course from Clayton Bay through Dunn’s Lagoon, around the Rat Island, and back to Clayton Bay. Since those days, the Clayton Bay Boat Club has continued the tradition of racing around Rat Island with the Rat Race Regatta.

2019 Christies to Hobart Onkaparinga Coast Yacht Classic

Christies Sailing Club was incorporated in 1958 and has continued over the years to support and encourage competitive sailing in the south of Adelaide. This sailing season we are hosting a long race from Christies Beach to the wreck of the HMAS Hobart, which lies in waters just off the coast from Wirrina, and back.  The name of the race is the ‘Christies to Hobart, Onkaparinga Coast Yacht Classic’ and will be held on Saturday and Sunday, 2nd and 3rd of March 2019.

New Club Services Team for 2019

Grant Willmott and Annie Watson will be looking after Queensland and Northern New South Wales Clubs in 2019 under the supervision of Regional Manager Ben Callard.  Between them they have many years of experience in many different aspects of the sport of sailing.  Grant and Annie will be working towards helping each Club to be the best they can be.

Last weekend the Royal Perth Yacht Club filled the river with sails and masts for their 2019 Mini Series. During the two days over 150 boats, across 17 fleets, hit the water to compete in the annual event.
