Double-handed Ryujin wins Apollo Bay Race

Sailed double-handed by owner Alex Toomey and crew-mate Andrew Hibbert, Ryujin has won the Ocean Racing Club of Victoria’s (ORCV) 2022 Apollo Bay Race, in which Margaret Rintoul V (Damien King) took line honours in a close race across the board.

Melbourne set to host the 2024 Tasar World Championships

Sandringham Yacht Club will host the 2024 Tasar World Championships in Melbourne, Australia. This hugely popular and highly competitive class will be taking to the waters of Port Phillip from 28 to 31 December 2023 for the Australian National Championships and will follow this up with the main event - their World Championship from 2 to 9 January 2024.

A KISS to Build a Dream on

Queenscliff Cruising Yacht Club (QCYC) has launched their KISS (Keelboat Introduction for Sailing Savvy) program pitched to female sailors and providing a supportive learning environment to inspire them to create their own sailing dreams. Vertigo wins ORCV Bass Strait race.

Tim Olding's Summit 35 Vertigo, won the Ocean Racing Club of Victoria (ORCV) 55 nm West Offshore Products Coastal Sprint Race on a perfect sailing day. The win puts Vertigo in second position behind Jeff Sloan’s Archambault A35 Archie in the ORCV Coastal Championship Series leading into the final race, the popular 52 nm Apollo Bay race on 14th May.
