National Finalists Announced for the Coveted SheSails Award

The SheSails Award was introduced in 2018 and recognises an individual, group, class or club that makes an outstanding contribution, promotion and/or administration of female participation in sailing. Three incredible finalists have been selected from amongst the state awards winners for the national SheSails Award, with the winner to be announced at the Australian Sailing Awards on Friday November 3.

Sustainable Practice with Double Bay Sailing Club

Double Bay Sailing Club (DBSC) is a club that is passionately leading the way with its sustainability practices. As well as implementing a range of energy efficient initiatives including power-saving light bulbs and timers for hot water, DBSC also has systems in place to separate waste streams and actively encourages and participates in recycling.

Winners announced at the Tasmanian Sailing Awards 2023

On Saturday 9th September 2023, the Tasmanian sailing community came together at the Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania for the announcement of the winners for the 2023 Tasmanian Sailing Awards. It was a well-attended event with over 80 people celebrating the finalists and winners of each award.

Australian Sailing TAS Awards - Finalists Announced

We are pleased to announce the finalists for the 2023 TAS Sailing Awards. Nominations have come from clubs big and small and across the state. They include sailors from all different classes, volunteers who put in incredible hours to help their clubs, instructors and coaches who are working for our sport and the promoters who use technology and social media to make sure we hear about sailing.
