Australian Sailing is delighted to launch The Learn to Wing Program, the new program for Discover Sailing Centres (DSCs) which is designed to assist in introducing new participants to the exciting discipline from September 2023 onwards.
Throughout 2023 Australian Sailing is spotlighting specific themes that are integral to the fabric of the sailing community across our nation. This July, Australian Sailing is proud to shine the spotlight on participation at every level and is excited to highlight the tireless work of clubs, class associations and Discover Sailing Centres nation-wide.
Australian Sailing will shortly be launching our latest Discover Sailing program – Learn to Wing. The program will be ready to launch at accredited Discover Sailing Centres in time for the summer season, and in preparation we will shortly be announcing Instructor Training to ensure your instructors are trained and ready to deliver this exciting new program.
Nominations are now open for the 2023 South Australian Sailing Awards, with the annual event set to recognise clubs, members, volunteers and athletes from around the state for their outstanding achievements and contributions over the past year.
Australian Sailing is excited to announce applications for the Whitworths Tackers Boat Program and the new EziOpti Green Fleet Boat Loan Program are now open.
South Australian Metro School Teams Sailing Championships, held over 26th March and 2nd April, saw 14 School teams compete over 2 Sundays at the Adelaide Sailing.
The 2023 South Australian Sailing Summit will provide a great opportunity for clubs and classes to share information and ideas, allow Australian Sailing to hear directly from the community via workshops following the Club Survey and receive an update on hot topics and the Australian Sailing strategic priorities.
Our next opportunity to become a qualified Dinghy Instructor in South Australia is coming up Monday 17th April, Tuesday 18th April and Wednesday 19th April 2023.
