There will sure to be no shortage of sailing’s glitz and glamour at the 2018 Queensland Sailing Awards on the 28th July at Southport Yacht Club. Over 53 finalists across 17 award categories will gather to celebrate achievements in participant, performance and service across the Queensland sailing community.

Nominations are closed and the votes have been counted. The finalists of the 2018 Queensland Sailing Awards again represent the highest calibre of volunteers, participants, competitors and clubs in Queensland.

As part of the funding from the Queensland Government to support females in sailing, Australian Sailing are providing opportunities for females to communicate and network.

The Keppel Bay Sailing Club in conjunction with Australian Sailing is excited to once again host the 2018 Queensland Youth Camp and Championships and entries are now open!

A yacht that has carried a Land Rover on deck, been used to pursue pearls, was sunk for months and has a dog in the crew is destined to continue expanding an already impressive record for failing to finish at Hamilton Island Race Week.
