The Annual General Meeting for Yachting Queensland was conducted on the 28th November 2021. With a good turn out the meeting ran seamlessly with no contentious issues on the agenda.
To educate and inform people of their responsibilities to protect and look after children, Sport Integrity Australia has launched a new Child Safeguarding in Sport Induction eLearning course.
The third annual Mooloolaba Women’s Keelboat Regatta is set to sail this coming weekend, with eight teams of women from around Queensland competing on the challenging short-course Mooloola River. Training and social racing is scheduled for Friday, while the serious racing will start early on Saturday, October 30 and run through Sunday.

Australian Sailing has been invited to make comment on a range of potentially new safety recommendations for consideration by Maritime Safety Queensland. I would like to further extend this invitation to our Queensland Clubs to provide me with your comments and feedback for inclusion into our response on the initiatives.
