Q4 Participation report

Australian Sailing's Q4 participation report is out. Congratulations to all centres on their program delivery this quarter and the centres leading the way. Notably this quarter there’s been a good increase in people attaining Instructor, Coach and Officiating qualifications, we wish the workforce well in their roles in supporting new sailors and club members in the season ahead.

Australian Sailing Participation and Membership Strategy

The Australian Sailing 2032 Strategic Plan sets a long-term vision for the sport and outlines what the organisation hopes to achieve between 2022 and 2032. The plan sets out the key projects we will deliver to meet those goals, one of which is the Participation and Membership Strategy which is currently in development.

Getting the Show Back On the Road

On 10 Feb 2022, the McGowan Government launched its $77 million Safe Transition Industry Support Package to support businesses and individuals in sectors most affected by the decision to delay the full reopening of WA’s borders. The package includes nine support programs for the international education, tourism, aviation and events sectors.
