2020 Flying Fifteen Australian Championship
A fleet of 20 Flying Fifteens made the long journey from all over Australia to compete at the 2020 Flying Fifteen Australian Championship held in Waterloo Bay just south of the Brisbane River in Queensland. Some competitors had a long journey navigating around a host of bush fires still plaguing the country. Visitors came from as far as England, Darwin, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney.

Youth sailors dig deep at bushfire fundraiserÂ
Youth sailors and their families dug deep at the presentation ceremony for the 2020 Australian Youth Championships at the Sorrento Sailing Couta Boat Club last night, raising much needed funds for those impacted by the bushfires that continue to burn around the country.

170 yachts to start historic 2019 Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race
Entry for the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race has closed and organisers at the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia (CYCA) are thrilled to announce 170 yachts from Australia and overseas will take part in their 75th race, making it the largest fleet since the 50th in 1994, and the fourth-largest in the history of the race. 2019 Christies to Hobart Onkaparinga Coast Yacht Classic
Christies Sailing Club was incorporated in 1958 and has continued over the years to support and encourage competitive sailing in the south of Adelaide. This sailing season we are hosting a long race from Christies Beach to the wreck of the HMAS Hobart, which lies in waters just off the coast from Wirrina, and back.  The name of the race is the ‘Christies to Hobart, Onkaparinga Coast Yacht Classic’ and will be held on Saturday and Sunday, 2nd and 3rd of March 2019.
