On Saturday 19th October 2019, thanks to the Queensland Governmentâ€™s Female Facilities Grant of $329,825, the Darling Point Sailing Squadron unveiled new showers, toilets and change rooms facilities.

Australian Sailing Employs first North Queensland Club Services Officer

Australian Sailing has employed the first ever North Queensland Club Services Officer. Mathew Himson started with Australian Sailing on the 1st of September and will be playing an active role in the grass roots development of sport in North Queensland.

The Queensland Sailing community celebrated its night of nights with glitz and glamour at the 2019 Queensland Sailing Awards. Hosted by the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron on Saturday 21st July 120 guests celebrated the success, achievements and contributions of 63 finalists across 17 award categories.
