Sports Integrity
Integrity means the ethics and values that promote community confidence in sailing.
Australian Sailing and the broader sailing community take integrity seriously, because we believe that everyone has the right to be able to participate in and enjoy sport, confident in the knowledge that they are part of a safe, fair, and inclusive environment. We believe that all of our members and participants have an obligation to protect the integrity of sport, as well as the health and wellbeing of everyone involved. That's why integrity is one of the six foundations underpinning our Sailing 2032 Strategic Plan, and one of our organisation's four key values.
On a more fundamental level, we take integrity seriously because it's the right thing to do.
We work closely with Sport Integrity Australia, the national coordination agency for sport integrity threats. For more information about Sport Integrity Australia, visit its website. Sailing-specific questions about any integrity related matters should be directed to your local Club Support Officer.
